Privacy policy

Account data. Your email address and, if you sign in with Google, the display name Google provides.

Shopping data. The searches you run, searches you save, listings you shortlist or watch, your stated preferences (brands, budget, condition, stores, alert settings) and the thumbs up/down feedback you give on matches.

Assistant conversations. Messages you send to the assistant, so a conversation can be continued later.

Anonymous preview searches. When someone runs a search on the homepage without an account, we store the query and a one-way hash of the IP address purely to rate-limit abuse. The raw IP address is not stored.

To run the product: search retailers on your behalf, rank results against your requirements, keep your shortlist and watchlist across sessions, and send the alerts you asked for. We do not sell personal data and do not run advertising networks on the site.

Findeso runs on Lovable Cloud, which provides database, authentication and hosting. Searches are executed against retailer APIs and data providers, and natural-language understanding runs through an AI gateway. Your query text is sent to those services to fulfil the search; your identity is not.

Your data is kept while your account exists. You can delete your account from Profile and preferences inside the app; that permanently removes your profile, saved searches, shortlist, watchlist, alerts, conversations and feedback. Anonymous preview-search rate-limit records expire on their own and contain no identifying information.

Findeso stores a session token so you stay signed in, and a local preference for light or dark mode. There are no third-party advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

Some outbound links to retailers are affiliate links. Following one may set a cookie or tracking parameter on the retailer's own site so the visit can be attributed to Findeso for commission. That process is run by the retailer or its affiliate network, under their privacy policy — Findeso does not receive your identity, order contents or payment details from it. Findeso separately records that an outbound link was clicked, and from which source, to measure which sources are useful.
